Lighthouse Camera Angles

Establishing Shot: The camera is capturing the entire scene, with the lighthouse, land, and ocean being visible. I used informal balance for this shot in order to make the shot more dynamic and colorful and provide an imbalance of power between the landscape, water, and the lighthouse. Long Shot: The camera is capturing the lighthouse from a closer view, with the entire lighthouse still being able to be seen. I used rule of thirds in order to align the lighthouse with the grass and the hill right behind it, and I tried to put it in the middle third of the camera, and I also used emphasis in order to give the lighthouse more standout from the rest of the landscape. Medium Shot: The camera is capturing the top half of the body and the head of the lighthouse. Birds Eye View: The camera is way above the characters/the place of a story, sometimes in a way to show the lack of power. Close-Up Shot: Camera shows only the person's face and neck. Establishing shot: Camera shows the entire area of where the story takes place. Extreme Close-Up Shot: Camera is very close to the person's/object's face. Eye Level Shot: The camera is at the eye level of a specific character. Long Shot: Camera shows the entire person or object over a landscape or background. Medium Shot: Camera shows the person's head, neck and torso. Over-the-Shoulder Shot: Camera is over the shoulder of a person or object. Worm's Eye View: The person is above the camera, sometimes in a way to show the character's power.
